Remove scratches on piano paint

For technical devices with piano lacquer or pianos in general, the following is recommended for existing scratches:

1. Add a drop of thistle oil (from supermarket) directly to scratches.
2. Using a soft microfibre cloth or a flow cloth, massage the oil slowly and gently with a slight amount of pressure, rub in diagonally over the scratch and not along the scratch.
3. Approx. Wait 10 minutes.
4. Rub smoothly with a dry microfibre cloth or a flow cloth, applying slowly but not applying much pressure. Until you see the oil no longer shine.
5. Wait another 10 minutes.
6. Slightly rub some white candle wax on the scratch with very little pressure.
7. Now rub oil (thistle oil) on microfiber cloth or flow cloth (not too much) and slowly but surely remove the wax.
8. Polish with gentle pressure and a dry cloth.

For me, the scratch was gone.
