Peynirli Pogaca - "Cheese Roll"

ingredients

  • 1 glass of warm milk
  • 1/2 glass of warm water
  • 1 glass of oil
  • 1/2 yogurt
  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 3 eggs (of which you must separate two from the egg yolk)
  • Flour
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 tsp salt

For the filling:

  • about 2 packets of white cheese and about half a bunch of parsley

preparation

  1. Put all the ingredients into a bowl (separate two of the three eggs, the egg white comes in the dough, the egg yolk please pick up!) And gradually add flour to it. This is done until the dough is nicely smooth and does not stick anymore.
  2. When the dough is ready, cover with a damp cloth and let rest for about 30 minutes.
  3. In the meantime, chop the cheese in a bowl and mix in the parsley.
  4. After the rest of the dough knead it again briefly. Then separate the dough into small pieces and form into a small ball. I then pull this ball to a small thread so I can fill it with decent cheese. Then close the ball again and roll again in the hand, so that everything is too.
  5. The bread blanks then come on a baking sheet. Best designed with baking paper. The oven should be preheated to 175 degrees (convection).
  6. Brush the rolls with egg yolks before baking. If you want, you can sprinkle it with sesame seeds.
  7. The rolls are ready when they are golden brown.
