Crispy potato chips made by yourself

Crunchy potato chips can be made quickly and easily by yourself. Benefits of this recipe: The chips contain no fat, no flavor enhancers or artificial flavors. It is also cheap and you save garbage.

Individually and according to your own taste, they can be seasoned or even dipped.


ingredients

(I had for 1-2 servings)

  • 1 big potato
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • some garlic powder
  • or: spices according to desire, mood and taste

You still need:

  • vegetable slicer
  • skewers
  • 1 deep plate
  • 1 bowl
  • microwave

preparation

  1. Wash the potato, if the shell is quite thick, remove it, with a thin bowl you can leave it well.
  2. Now the potato is planed with the vegetable slicer in a bowl / bowl.
  3. Spices, such. For example, add salt and paprika and mix well with the potato slices.
  4. String the potato slices on shashlik skewers, (see photos) not too close to each other, otherwise they stick together later. Then the shashlik skewers are placed on the plate with both ends. Unfortunately I had only one skewer at home, but it fits 2-3 skewers on a large round plate. The water of the potato slices can now drip into the plate and the chips are nice and crispy.
  5. The slices then at maximum wattage 4-7 minutes in the microwave, that's a bit individual, with me the chips were finished after 4.5-5 minutes and nice and crispy. Every now and then look how far they are, not that they are too dark.
  6. Are the chips ready, off in a bowl, maybe spice up a bit, then enjoy!

A healthy snack where you know what's inside, and really tasty.

Tip: Serve with a delicious dip.
