Here I give tips on how to optimally care for your notebook / netbook. You can also use this care tip with other manufacturers if they are not gold-plated or chrome-plated surfaces, such as the HP notebook, which is chrome-plated.
PLEASE DO NOT USE ON FILM SURFACES!
How do I care for my notebook?
Clean up? Do not use a vacuum cleaner for cleaning between keyboards and radiator. Especially not to free the cooler so dust. The cooler has a fan that always turns in one direction. With the vacuum cleaner it turns in reverse and the cooler is faster, louder and cools less. Always have interior cleaning carried out by qualified personnel. Radiator cleaning costs about EUR 19.00 at the factory and is still cheaper instead of replacing the entire radiator.
Material: 2 x microfibre cloths. One moistened and one dry. + 1 handkerchief + tape. + Air spray (also called dust spray). If I exclude one or the other or urge you to be extremely careful, it's because some people have two left hands.
To secure. You have to make sure that no liquid gets into the notebook. Take a handkerchief for each opening and hold it on the opening and tape it off with a little tape. Make sure that it has no strong adhesive properties, so you do not have any adhesive residue when removing it (example: Tesaband).
Take a very lightly moistened microfibre cloth and use this cloth exclusively for cleaning the notebook. LCD (X-Black) display should be cleaned as the last. Do not use chemical additives. Cold tap water is enough to moisten.
Between the buttons you spray the spray in one direction. From right to left.
On the left, all the crumbs come out. If you first clean the surfaces with a damp cloth, do not wait until it dries by itself, but polish directly with the second dry cloth without pressure. Moisture does not mean wet. Simply hold the cloth under running water and squeeze well.
Display cleaning: display until it stops opening (without pressure). Hold in the light to detect any fine scratches or fingerprints. Dust-free with air spray and wipe with damp cloth starting from the corners. Immediately polish with the dry cloth without pressure in rapid movements from bottom to top (fixed direction no zig-zag).
If you have fine scratches on the display cover (display panel) where no fingernails go in, you can polish these scratches with Sonax car polish for new paints with very very light pressure. VERY IMPORTANT. The amount of polish should not be like a cent coin. This amount is enough. Leave on for 2 minutes (not under the sun, even if something else is written on the Sonax), then polish with some pressure and another clean dry cloth.
If the scratch has disappeared, clean immediately with a damp cloth and dry again.
Palmrest.
If the color on the palm rest where the buttons are located has changed, you only have two options:
1. Resign or disassemble and paint. The color on the palm rest changes because we sweat and our sweat attacks the paint. Therefore, if you make the effort to paint it, you should have NANO sealed. Costs approx .: EUR 59,00
