Apples rubbing with a microfiber cloth
Nice note from a friend: apples are supposedly much better with shell, but washing off does not bring much against the natural or unnatural wax layer. As a kid I also "rubbed off" my nicky.
Well, in the 21st century: polish with a microfibre cloth (it's also dry, so-called "misty" is even better)! Also works with the powdery topping of plums or other fruit (with currants it gets spotty, :))
